DataTables | Table plug-in for jQuery (blocker)

Hello,

I have reviewed a project with SonarSource SA version 5.2.

This one is built on Zend Framework (PHP) and we are using various JS plugins in the UI part like JQuery-UI, Bootstrap and DataTables.

When I run Sonarqube’s analysis, the datatables plugin (jqueryDataTablesMin.js) throws the most Blockers and Critical alertss.

The question is, if the third-party plugins are necessary to analyze them?

In fact we recommend that you exclude libraries.. The docs will help.

Thanks Ann, for the answer and documentation.

With this information, I can refute the test team, that the jquery library has no problems and should be ignored.
