Colorblind mode

Hello,
I have red-green colorblindness and am having a hard time seeing the difference between the various coverage markings. Is there a colorblind mode?
Thanks

Dear @bmct,

Thanks a lot for your feedback! We do not plan to release a colorblind mode, but we do our best to make our products accessible by default, and your feedback will help us improve.

To be sure I understand, are you referring to the red/green coverage marking appearing in the left margin of the code, or to the small donut charts that we use to represent the level of coverage in the project/branch overview (or maybe both)?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Joseph,

Both would be ideal, but the specific coloring I’m talking about is the coverage coloring that marks which lines are covered and which are not. The colors used are red and green, and they are small indicators on the side of the line by the line numbers.

Sonarqube/cloud uses a lot of visuals to show information. If people cannot read it then that makes the tool hard to use!

Thanks a lot for your input @bmct !

I opened two improvement requests to make the coverage markings and coverage charts more accessible for colorblind users in the future.

 hi … maybe cloud handles this stuff differently but for qube i mentioned this here some time ago:

Maybe relating to this cloud devs can find some insights on sonarsource side
