Can no longer use “/” in project keys names. Was working in 8.2 release.

Indeed, there was an issue in SonarQube 8.2, it should not have been possible to use a ‘/’.

Ah gotcha… we made changes exploiting the bug in 8.2. We didn’t note the correction in the 8.3 release notes.
No problem, I think it was not clear in the release notes of 8.3 that we’ve fixed this bug introduced in previous version.
