We are interested in upgrading our current plan from 1M LOC to 2M LOC. However, since we are on a legacy plan, I don’t see an option to increase the LOC without switching to a new subscription plan. I’m unclear about how this works, especially as we have GitHub-linked users, but not all of them intend to use SonarCloud.
I have raised this issue a couple of times through the Support page but haven’t had any success so far.
I would appreciate it if someone could explain how this process works and who I should contact if this isn’t the right place to address it.
It’s not possible to change your Lines of Code without moving to the new plan. As noted in the docs:
You cannot change the LOC of a legacy paid plan. You can only migrate your legacy paid plan organization to Free or upgrade it to Team or Enterprise. See above.
It would be great if someone would be able to clarify the questions while we try to upgrade.
In new plan if we select team it says $32 per month – I am assuming this would be per member per month
Currently we have associated Github account with Sonarcloud so would that mean we have to buy for all the users in Github, if yes we don’t want to that so what are the options to manage it
What other options do we have if we want to keep everything as it and just increase LOC for our account as if we go with new plans it would be really big price increase also do we have option of self hosted SonarQube ?
Oh, I was under impression it would be charged per user.
So whats the starting limit for Teams plan and what would incremental cost for LOC ?
We have currently 1M LOC which is getting ecxhausted so we are looking to atleast go to 1.5M LOC. I am not able to see how much LOC comes with teams plan, Apologies if I am understanding it incorrectly
