Administer Issues permission, allow users to only resolve

Hi Sonarqube, Is there any way to allow users to ONLY resolve issues? We want to prevent them from changing type or severity but still allow them to resolve them. Thank you!

Hi @M_C,

We made a change in SonarQube 7.9 to require the Administer Issues permission to resolve an issue as Fixed, because otherwise it could lead to a Quality Gate passing without the issue having actually been resolved in the code. So post 7.9, no there is no way to just allow users to resolve issues (apart from fixing the code, obviously) without full issue management rights.
