Achieve HA in sonarqube community edition

I am using Sonarqube 8.9 LTS, community edition.
Trying to achive High Availability.
The sonarqube is hosted on the vCenter server.

  1. With the sonarqube 8.9 LTS community edition, can we achieve High Availability by deploying 2 sonarqube instances (as 2 seprate VMs) on the vCenter server and pointing to the same DB?

  2. Is high availablilty possible if I deployed the sonarqube community edition on Kubernetes?

Please suggest if there is any way in which High Availability can be achieved with Sonarqube Community Edition.

Thank you

Hi @ClaraW and welcome to the community

As far as I know HA is a feature of the datacenter edition (Try Now Data Center Edition | Sonar) . The community edition is not designed to be ran in ha mode and trying will result in inconsistencies.

You can read more about the datacenter deployment here: Install the server as a cluster

Hope that clarifies things
