Which scanner should I use for Java?

Hi,

What is the recommanded scanner for analyzing Maven projects ? SonarScanner for Maven or SonarScanner ?

Because this The SonarScanner is recommended as the default analyzer for Maven projects. was confusing in https://docs.sonarqube.org/latest/analysis/scan/sonarscanner-for-maven/ .

If you are using Maven, “The SonarScanner for maven is recommended as the default analyzer for Maven projects.”

I agree that it’s confusing, we will make sure the documentation get updated to reflect this.
