Where are the JavaScript and TypeScript architecture rules in SonarQube Server 2025.2?

We have just deployed the 2025.2-enterprise Docker image and we are unable to find the JavaScript and TypeScript architecture rules announced in the official announcement.

When searching for Architecture repositories, we only see the Java repository:

Using rules.sonarsource.com, we were not able to find the “circular” rule either:

It is successfuly present for Java:

The binary doesn’t seem to contain a JavaScript Architecture plugin.

Are we missing something?

Hi,

It gets weird when you ask the same question in multiple places.

Here’s the official answer:

No, it doesn’t get weird. You think it gets weird. Please don’t forget the non-assertive communication principle.

What I find weird though is that the documentation was changed at one point between my first question and the answer from @gab. Which means that my question actually triggered a change, without the issue being officially acknowledged.

One may wonder if Sonar was planning to hide the issue entirely by just changing the announcement and documentation, without any kind of acknowledgement or apology, and was prevented to do so because of my questions.

Of course, I may be wrong, which is why I used “I find weird” and “one may wonder”.

See? Non assertive.

Cheers,

Philippe.

Hi @Philippe_Formulain,

We started amending as soon as we verified the problem in order to avoid further confusion for other users.

Thank you again for raising the issue :+1:
