When will Dart 3.6+ be supported by SonarQube LTA?

I’m evaluating the use of the latest version of Flutter (3.27) on my SonarQube server. However, according to flutter’s docs, it uses Dart 3.6.2.

The Dart versions fully supported by SonarQube extends from 3 to 3.5, according to your own docs.

Will SonarQube support the analysis of Flutter 3.27 projects on its current LTA?

Where can I find official information on SonarQube’s compatibility with the latest Dart versions? Is there a public roadmap for Dart support in SonarQube?

Hi,

I don’t have a timeline for that support, but I can tell you that SonarQube Server 2025.1 LTA will not be patched to backport such support when it’s released.

Hello @balbi_andre,

As far as I know, there are no big syntax differences between 3.6 and 3.5 so I guess that SonarQube LTA v2025.1 should be able to scan your code.
