What is the correct upgrade path from 9.9 LTA (Community Edition)?

This is the SonarQube upgrade page:

This shows the target version for the 9.9 LTA (Community Edition) as 25.4.0.x.

However, when I tried to download the Community Edition zip file, I could only find the following: sonarqube-25.7.0.110598.zip

Should we be targeting the 25.7.0.x release of the Community Edition of SonarQube when upgrading from the 9.9 LTA (Community Edition)?

You should upgrade first through 24.12. You can find the download in the docs you linked!

Hi Colin,

I understand that I need to perform the intermediate upgrade first and have already downloaded the 24.12.0.100206 application. My question was related to the next step, upgrading from 24.12 to the 25 version. The documentation says to target the 25.4.0.x version, but I can only see the 25.7.0.110598. Should I not be concerned with the documentation’s reference to the 25.4.0.x application and simply upgrade to the latest 25.x version that is available?

Hey @renbaumj!

That’s a place holder version. You should always target the latest release, unless you’ve fallen way behind and need to upgrade through a December release first.
