Upload report fails. Please help!

I am using SonarQube 7.9.4-community pulled directly from Dockerhub. I have also used 7.9.3-community and have gotten the same issue.

I am launching a SonarQube scan via Jenkins using docker containers and I have gotten this to work prior but every once in a while it will fail. However, as of recent it has just stopped working all together.

NOTE SonarQube is running in a container running on localhost:9001 and there is a step prior that launches the container on the specified port then sleeps for 30 seconds before continuing.

Hi,

Welcome to the community!

In 99.8% of the cases, there is something on the network between the SonarQube server and the analysis machine (think proxy, firewall, …) interfering with the upload of the analysis report.

You need to talk to your network folks.

I am hosting the SonarQube server & scan locally within two separate Docker containers and there haven’t been any changes to the network / firewall settings recently.

Also, it seems that when the upload fails the SonarQube server container crashes…

Hi,

This looks like a repeat of the analysis-side stacktrace, from your original post. Looking more closely, I see that the server that can’t be reached is at http://localhost:9001. Is that actually where you’re running SonarQube?
