After installing SonarQube for IDE I am receiving this message and I’m not sure how to proceed.

That could work, but is it trustworthy? I have never seen it share this message.

I‘m sorry, I should have added something as it looked obvious to me but maybe Not to you.
This is the certificate for telemetry.sonarsource.com. This is the Endpoint to which the plugin sends anonymous telemetry to Improve the Product.
If you want you can opt-out of This telemetry via the Settings.
I could imagine that you got the Dialog because it was recently renewed (the certificate states 3rd of May).
It is for the JRE bundled with the Extension.
