My organization is currently migrating from bitbucket to github, but my organization in SonarCloud is binded to Bitbucket, I read there is no button to Unbind from bitbucket but is it possible that someone from support can unbind it for us? does it affect the scans if the bitbucket license expire?
Unfortunately, it’s currently not possible to unbind an organization and bind it to something else. Hopefully we can make this a reality this year.
Currently, the only way to have your organization bound to a different DevOps Platform is to create a new organization and re-import your repositories there. Unfortunately, that means you’ll lose the results of previous analyses on these projects.
If you have a yearly subscription for your current organization, a new coupon can be issued for your new organization by reaching out to your sale representative.
If you have a monthly subscription by credit card, you can simply stop your subscription on the old organization and re-subscribe on the new one.
Thanks for your answer, I still have a question, what would happen if the bitbucket license expire before we can make a new organization?, what would happen to the current one that is still binded to bitbucket?
Nothing, in particular, would happen, although I imagine that if your scans are orchestrated by some push to Bitbucket (and then Bitbucket Pipelines runs… or the like), you will stop receiving new analysis data.
