We are currently on the latest paid version of SonarQube. We have 135 projects currently in our paid SonarQube instance. We have setup a test instance with the community edition. Can we migrate or import projects into this instance or do we need to manually add new projects to the community edition instance?

You can just hook up a Community Edition to a copy of your existing database.
