Strategy for upgrading Sonarqube

  • If we plan to upgrade SonarQube, what is the compatibility w.r.t the command line tools?

Do you mean the analyzers?

To be honest, the analyzers mostly don’t change that much & outside of .NET there are rarely compatibility questions. By which I mean it’s very rare for there to be backward/forward compatibility problems.

But if it’s a concern, generally I’d say just make sure you’re always on the latest.
