We wanted to let you know that SonarQube Community Edition is now analyzed publicly on our internal dogfooding instance, Next (from SonarCloud). Moving it makes it easier for us to keep track of the project, and it makes it easier for you to see “SonarQube-on-SonarQube”.
Next is our internal production instance of SonarQube and where we test new features before sending them out to you. That means that from time to time you’ll see behavior or features (or rules, or…) on Next that you can’t find or replicate in the latest release of SonarQube. That’s to be expected; just consider it a preview.
