SonarQube issue assignee change is not functional after upgrade to SonarQube 7.9 LTS

  • version: SonarQube 7.9 LTS, (after upgrade from 7.4 and migration from MySQL to Postgres)
  • error observed: Not being able to reassign issues ownership
  • steps to reproduce: Click on the triangle next to the issue’s assignee, type 2 character or the name with proper permission does NOT resolve into full name and does not get saved.

The issue also isn’t very clear from your post — please include some examples / screenshots where you see discrepancies between permissions and actions in the UI.
