SonarQube is not scanning the whole Xamarin Project

  • which versions are you using (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension):
    SonarQube Community - 8.5.1.38104
    SonarScanner - MSbuild-4.10.0.19059-net46

  • Scan everything e.g. iOS project in Xamarin
    Results : Project A

  • what have you tried so far to achieve this:
    Built solution
    Built android / ios / shared projects
    Create different projects in the server (sometimes it is not even consistent on what it scans) and scan again

I am scanning locally, any insights why is it not being able to cater all of the projects included? And suggestions that I can do to fix the problem?

Hi @jbt, could you please share the build logs with us?

  • the verbose output of the command (please run SonarScanner.MSBuild.exe begin /k:"MyProject" /d:sonar.verbose=true as the begin step, and please attach the output of END step )

Sorry for my late response. However I cannot share the build logs info due to company’s privacy rule. On the other hand, I’ve checked the build logs and there’s no instance that my iOS project is being scanned. If there is a specific info you need under the build logs, I can check it for you.
