Hi,

What we’ve found (via community reports from people attempting exactly this) is that when you point two independent instances of SonarQube to the same database, things get… weird. So no, this isn’t available.

why not use database backup as usual ?
Beside that, you may run your Sonarqube instance on VM.

never used AWS.
But this is not Sonarqube specific. It’s like using any other tool that has its own database and
with using a VM instead of a real machine you are quicker with snapshots … etc.
Also this is not specific to Sonarqube.
I guess amazon has a similar backup mechanism.
