Dear IntelliJ users,
I’m happy to announce a new 10.14 version of SonarQube for IntelliJ!
You can now analyze your Python code in Jupyter Notebooks. This is available in PyCharm and in other JetBrains IDEs with the Jupyter plugin installed.
This release also brings important improvements for JS/TS analysis. The new JS analyzer minimizes the creation of temporary files, thereby reducing the memory footprint. As a result, the time required to detect the first issue has also been shortened, particularly benefiting Windows users, who may experience a reduction of up to 7 seconds in the initial analysis time.
Please note that this release ends support for username/password-based authentication for connected mode which was deprecated in November 2023 in favor of tokens. Authentication tokens can be easily generated during the connection setup in the last step: “Edit connection: Authentication”.
You can find the SonarQube for IntelliJ release notes here.
Thank you for your continued support!
