SonarQube and Web Analytics

Hi there,

I’ve been using SonarQube for quite a while now and I’m trying to improve the feedback loop with my users. One of the things I’m interested is basic analytics like Google Analytics or App Insights: page views, most viewed pages, most viewed projects, files, etc.

The idea here is just to answer the question: is people using SonarQube?

So, I thought the simplest way to achieve this would be to plug an out-of-the box analytics and get some insight.

Is it possible to add some custom javascript on the “” tag to enable this? Is it possible to develop a plugin that does this?

Hi Eric,

It’s not currently possible, but 7.8 will add an extension point that could be exploited in a plugin:
