Not that I’m aware of; in this case the HAProxy pods aren’t directly configured by us, they’re managed by OpenShift which builds their configuration dynamically based on Route/Ingress objects added to the cluster. They have a limited set of annotations you can define on these to modify the routing behavior, such as altering the default timeout, but apparently not one for rewriting the host:
The nginx workaround seems to be working fine for now, so this isn’t a showstopper for us. Thanks for the response!
