Sonarqube 7.9.1 Developer license setting in different system

  • which versions are you using (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension)
    we are using Sonarqube 7.9.1 LTS and we have got the developer edition license.
  • what are you trying to achieve
    We want to apply the developer edition license in the initial setup and destroy the setup.
    Again re-install and apply the license in another machine.
    Question: Once we uninstall sonarqube from the first machine, can we apply the license in another machine ?
    or do we need to get in touch with SQ team ? to re-use the license in another setup ?

A Server ID (which the license is tied to) will change if the sonar.jdbc.url configuration for the SonarQube instance changes. If this doesn’t change, your license remains valid. If it does (or you know it will), you should get in touch with contact@sonarsource.com :slight_smile:
