Hi Ann,

this fits perfectly :+1:
We’ve started scanning Python projects recently.

Hi Ann,

are there any plans in regards to these 2 issues for 2020?

Allow unknown languages in generic test execution reports
https://jira.sonarsource.com/browse/SONAR-12014

Allow unknown languages in generic test coverage reports
https://jira.sonarsource.com/browse/SONAR-12015

Second question, do you plan to support more languages like
the D Programming Language?

Kind regards
André

Hi André,

We have no plans for 2020 to add additional languages. Beyond that… we’ll see.

Regarding unknown languages in generic reports, I’m not aware that this is on a short list. OTOH, I also don’t know that it’s not. If you’d like to pursue this, please create another thread to share your use case.

Hi Ann,
unfortunately there is another thread. I asked here since 9 months 3 times for an update but didn’t get any answer anymore):

Should I open an additional thread?

Kind regards
André

Is the first sentence of "The 8.x LTS, which is expected in early 2021, will add significant value in the areas of security, operability, integration, and Python analysis. " a typo? Seems strange that the title mentions 2020, but the LTS release mentions 2021.

Hi @JordanSussman,

That’s what we’ll be working on in 2020 for the early-2021 LTS.
