SonarLint for IntelliJ 4.4 Released

Hi all,

SonarLint :sonarlint: for IntelliJ 4.4 has just been published to the JetBrains Plugin Repository. The highlights of this version are:

  • 22 new rules for Python
  • 8 new rules for JavaScript
  • Improved accuracy on several existing Python and JS rules thanks to significant updates of the analysis engines
  • Support for PHP 7.4

Please also note that the minimal supported version of the JetBrains API is now 2017.3, due to the removal of a lot of deprecated API uses, to ensure compatibility with the JetBrains 2020.x release train.
