Sonarlint "Don't Show Again" doesn't work for Configure Binding dialog

Please provide

  • Operating system: Windows 11
  • SonarLint plugin version: 3.16.0
  • Programming language you’re coding in: JavaScript
  • Is connected mode used: Yes
    • Connected to SonarCloud or SonarQube (and which version): SonarCloud

And a thorough description of the problem / question:

When starting VSCode the following appears:

“There are folders in your workspace that are not bound to any SonarQube/SonarCloud projects. Do you want to configure binding?”

I click “Don’t Ask Again”.

Expected behaviour: dialogue doesn’t appear in future sessions.

Current behaviour: dialogue appears every time VSCode is started, even when no changes to the workspace have occurred.

We can reproduce the issue with the latest version and a corresponding ticket (SLVSCODE-450) was created. We plan to fix the problem in the upcoming version of SonarLint for VSCode (version 3.17), which should be released in the coming weeks.
