Sonarcloud Publish Task Taking a Long TIme In Azure DevOps

  • ALM used Azure DevOps
  • CI system used Azure DevOps

The sonarcloud publish task is taking an incredibly large amount of time while running it in Azure DevOps. As a result, the entire pipeline is failing because of the timeout error.
It is to be noted that we are using sonarcloud.io.

It would be really helpful if someone has a solution.

Do you see these long-running tasks in your project’s Administration > Background Tasks? Have they always run this long, or is this new behavior?
