Sonarcloud fails to decorate PR for Azure DevOps quality gate

    Hi,

it’s been a couple of weeks since we started experiencing a randomic failure of the Pull Request decoration facility. The first time it occurred we checked the PAT token but it’s still valid. Moreover, it’s happening randomly on the same project thus the PAT token should not be the guilty.

Since we have a “status check” policy that prevents merges on the master/develop branch, we need to override it every time this happens, to move on.

Is there any way to troubleshoot on SonarCloud side? Even with administrative rights on both Azure DevOps and SonarCloud we can’t find any log of the integration between the two.

We also have the exact same issue. Basically there are three scenarios:

  • PR is decorated properly in some cases
  • No comments in PR, but email with issues received from Azure DevOps (not from Sonar)
  • No comments and no email, but if you go to Sonar you see the issues

Could not find any reason and any patterns, completely random.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
