Sonar Scanner Probing compiler C++ Ubuntu ARM64

Hi,

Just trying to figure out if what I am trying is actually supported, I am a bit confused with the documentation in regards to arm compilers. I run sonar-scanner on the same C++ code, ubuntu based docker container, one on x86_64 other on aarch64. x64 works fine, but aarch64 I get a parse error when scanner tries to probe the C++ compiler:

aarch64 gets picked up by sonar-scanner, I can see it in the first few logs… If it isn’t supported, wouldn’t it just stop then?

When I manually do:

x86 works fine, and output is identical as far as I can see, except for aarch64=x86

The main issue is that this repository is ok being built in x86, but I am trying to build another image based on Jetson Nano L4T docker image, that is going to be a pain to get working on x86…

In fact, we do not support running our analyzers on an ARM processor (except for macOS with Rosetta 2). What we do support is cross-compilation from an x64 host architecture to an ARM target.

We have an open feature for that; you can upvote if you want, giving us more context about your situation.

Additionally, the error produced is not very helpful. I created a ticket to make it more explicit.
