Do we have an option to include code coverage metric to show up on portforlio dashboard.

This is not possible in the main dashboard, we made the deliberate choice to display easy to understand metrics for managers/execs. Showing technical metrics, harder to understand/interpret for the less techies, could open a pandora box of explanations 
But the coverage metric is available at portfolio level. If you browse to the Measures tab, it’s available there (in left pane section Coverage)
