We’re seeing this in the SonarCloud UI now. We have a SAFE item listed under the Review filter and it doesn’t go away even after days and after refreshing the browser.
Yeah, we don’t even use any API to change the status of issues, just the SonarCloud UI. And yet, issues marked as SAFE show up in the “To review” filter and do not show up in the “Safe” one.

Have either of you tried using the workaround (using the web_api) I mentioned in my original post? Basically, use the hotspots/change_status endpoint to jerk it back and forth . That always worked for me, at least on my ancient 8.6
(Yeah, I’ve been begging mgt for the time to do the upgrade…)
