Run full analysis on an existing sonar project

Must-share information (formatted with Markdown):

• Version - Sonar Developer Edition (v 8.9.3)

• SonarQube is deployed on a VM

• Re-analyze the project again. The project initially analyzed subset of the files. After changing the exclusions, I need to re-analyze the project again.
  

  

• Created multiple PRs. Tried to update project settings but it does not change the project analysis. The new PRs only analyze the new code. I want to re-run the analysis on the whole project again so that I can check on system health for any new vulnerabilities or violations.

Hey there.

Your version is past EOL. You should upgrade to either the latest version or the current LTS at your earliest convenience. Your upgrade path is:

8.9.3 → 9.9.2 → 10.2.1 (last step optional)

Once that’s done – it sounds like you need to make sure analysis is triggered on the main branch of your project (like by running the CI for the main branch of your project), rather than a PR.
