We want to know how many rules under Java are changed/added/deleted between versions 6.7.6 community edition and 8.0 community edition.
Is there a way we can know them?

Welcome to the community!
You could see what version is distributed with 6.7.*, then check all the release notes from there to the version that’s distributed with 8.0. Or you could start from the count in the 7.9 annoucement (92) and just see how many rules the version in 8.0 adds.
