Request for Pricing and Upgrade Details – SonarQube Developer vs Enterprise Edition

We are currently using SonarQube Community Edition (version 10.6) with the following setup:

  • Home Directory:
    C:\sonarqube-10.6.0.92116\sonarqube-10.6.0.92116

  • Data Directory:
    C:\sonarqube-10.6.0.92116\sonarqube-10.6.0.92116\data

  • Temp Directory:
    C:\sonarqube-10.6.0.92116\sonarqube-10.6.0.92116\temp

  • Processors: 8

  • Database: Microsoft SQL Server

  • Database Version: 15.00.4455

We currently have 135+ projects configured in Community Edition with approximately 9.4 million lines of code (94 lakh LOC). However, we are experiencing performance issues. When analyses are triggered, even for around 20 projects, the components remain in the queue for 2–3 hours before processing begins.

We are planning to upgrade and would like:

  1. A detailed cost breakdown for:

    • Developer Edition

    • Enterprise Edition

  2. Guidance on:

    • Which edition would be more suitable for our current scale and future growth

    • Cost comparison based on ~9.4M LOC

    • Key feature differences relevant to large project portfolios

Please share pricing estimates and recommendations accordingly.

Hi,

If your reason for upgrading is queue time, then what you want is Enterprise Edition($$), which will allow you to have multiple compute engine workers to clear the queue faster.
