Quality gate failure on the pipeline after referencing a dev project for using the DTOs of req & res

  • which versions are you using (SonarQube Server / Community Build, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension) - v9.9.7 (build 96285)
  • how is SonarQube deployed: zip, Docker, Helm - Docker
  • what are you trying to achieve - Trying to get past the sonarqube quality gate error in Azdo Pipeline.I recently added a project reference to one of my test projects that actually references a dev project which has some common class definitions for the APIs. Ever since I did that all my pipeline runs are failing with less code coverage . The changes to the code were made only to the test project .
  • what have you tried so far to achieve this .Tried excludefromcodecoverage tag on my tests . that did not help.

Your version is past EOL. You should upgrade to either the latest version or the current LTA (long-term active version) at your earliest convenience. Your upgrade path is:

9.9.7 → 2025.1

Regarding your question, that tag is not something I recognize. It sounds like you want to set coverage exclusions on the SonarQube side.
