Please tell us the download location for sonar-scanner

https://docs.sonarqube.org/latest/analysis/scan/sonarscanner/

The download location is not present. This is the document we are forwarded to for download instructions.

Hi,

Welcome to the community!

Normally the download link is at the top of the page you’ve cited. Its loss is caused by some recent security-related infrastructure changes. This should be fixed in the (European) morning. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry for writing on this old topic… is the url missing again???

Hi,

It works on my machine.

It is, however, a separate load. It’s pulled in as a client-side include. Maybe there’s something “helpful” on your network?

??? Don’t know what you’re talking about…

Ann can you give us the download link then?? its not on the documentation at the top of the page where it should be.

Thank you!

Hi @Petrelli, the docs use a special component to read the scanner release data automatically, and present what you see at the top of the page. If this component is malfunctioning, I want to let our web support team know about it.

Can you please confirm that you were on this domain and URL?

Yes, I do confirm with that URL I cannot see the link.

I see this in Chrome’s console.

Access to fetch at ‘https://downloads.sonarsource.com/sonarqube/update/scannercli.json’ from origin ‘https://docs.sonarsource.com’ has been blocked by CORS policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. If an opaque response serves your needs, set the request’s mode to ‘no-cors’ to fetch the resource with CORS disabled.

This is super helpful. Thank you!
We encountered this once before and I’ll feed the observation to the appropriate team (on our side).
