I am using sonarqube community edition version 8.9 and java 8. We have not given any permission to sonar-user group (Any new users created will automatically join this group) especially the Administer Issues permission in the default template, still that user is able to resolve the issue as fixed or resolve as won’t fix or resolve as false positive. Is there any way to restrict that permission to the new user created in the server?
Your version is past EOL. You should upgrade to either the latest version or the current LTS at your earliest convenience. Your upgrade path is:
8.9 → 9.9.1 → 10.1 (last step optional)
You may find these resources helpful:

If you have questions about upgrading, feel free to open a new thread for that here.
If your error persists after upgrade, please come back to us.
Thanks for your reply. We will try upgrading our version.
