Hi,
I need some help regarding email notifications from SonarCloud.
As you can see on the screenshot below I have checked all notifications on the project level, nevertheless I never (and no one from our team) got any email from SonarCloud.
Okay, you’ve signed up for notifications on “My new issues” and issues being assigned to you.
Can you give me a screenshot from SonarCloud (redacted as necessary) of an issue that you expected a notification for and didn’t get? Specifically, I want to verify that the issue was actually assigned to you (by analysis).
Notifications are only sent when the issue is created or updated. Even if you’ve asked for notifications of changes on issues assigned to you, you won’t be notified if you’re the one to, E.G., change the severity of an issue. There’s no point in notifying you of a change that you made.
How about you introduce a brand new issue and check your SonarQube logs and your SendMail logs to see whether a notification is sent? It’s going to be difficult to diagnose two-weeks-ago.
