It seems that the container images from Microsoft’s new registry don’t work with SonarQube scanner, I use the prior image from Docker hub, the build/scan works.
- versions used (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension)
SonarQube: 6.7.1
Scanner: MSBuild 4.4.2 - error observed (wrap logs/code around triple quote ``` for proper formatting)
SonarScanner fails with the message:
Possible causes:
1. The project has not been built - the project must be built in between the begin and end steps
2. An unsupported version of MSBuild has been used to build the project. Currently MSBuild 14.0 and 15.0 are supported
3. The begin, build and end steps have not all been launched from the same folder
4. None of the analyzed projects have a valid ProjectGuid and you have not used a solution (.sln)
- steps to reproduce
use base docker image: mcr.microsoft.com/dotnet/core/sdk:2.2-stretch - potential workaround
use base docker image: microsoft/dotnet:2.2.100-sdk-stretch
FYI, I am supposed to have a support contract but when I login to the portal I get the message:
