Narrowing scope to analyze PR as it checks all the files which takes time

Is it possible to narrow the scope to analyze PR?

  • ALM used: GitHub
  • CI system used: Jenkins
  • Languages of the repository: JS/TS + Go

We would like to analyze only changed files as scanning the whole branch takes much more time. Is it possible to configure SonarCloud / Github this way so we only analyze changed ones?

Hey there.

This is starting to become possible with some languages (HTML, CSS, XML), with Java being the next to come (and coming soon!). We’ll continue to evaluate what languages we expand this to, and I’ve noted your feedback for JS/TS + Go.

and thanks. Our stack is mainly node + some Go parts. This is why it is extremely important to us to get such a feature for JS / TS. Frankly speaking, looking for any alternatives like Codiga as timing matters. Is there any roadmap or ETA when could we expect such feature for JS / TS?
