Minor issues show as errors

  • Operating system:
  • Visual Studio version: 2022 - 17.7.6
  • SonarLint plugin version: 7.3.0.77872
  • Programming language you’re coding in: C#
  • Is connected mode used:
    • Connected to SonarCloud or SonarQube (and which version): no

And a thorough description of the problem / question:

I just installed VS2022 fresh at my new workplace, as well as the latest version of sonalLint.
For some reason, minor issues show as errors.
If I follow the link for 6608 it takes me to a page where it says the issue is minor.

I attached a photo of the error list, none of these should show as errors. Any reason for this behavior?

Do you have any EditorConfig file in your directories?

But deleting and restarting VS doesn’t help

That is strange indeed. I’ll involve the VS team directly, they might have more insight into what is going on exactly.

Hi. Sorry, but I was wrong. I opened a solution that contain sub-solutions. The lower-level solution do indeed have a configuration to show these as errors. Sorry to waste your time.
