Looking for the latest developer .zip binary

  • which versions are you using: SonarQube Server / Developer Edition - v2025.1 102418
  • how is SonarQube deployed: Helm
  • what are you trying to achieve: upgrade using distro contents here
  • what have you tried so far to achieve this: revisit the aforementioned link and look around it for the latest version contents.

We have a build through help that pulls down the latest .zip from binaries hosted here. Unfortunately, the last few updates aren’t showing up there (for example: 25.2.0.102705, and 25.3.0.104237). What’s weird is that the other day the version 9.9.9 was uploaded there, but nothing newer.

Should I be looking in a different place for this zip?

I see that 2025.1.1 was added just today…but I don’t see that release in GitHub. There is some disconnect here that I am not understanding

Hi,

Commercial editions of SonarQube now have a different release schedule. SonarQube Community Build has monthly releases with a “short_year.month” version (25.1, 25.2, 25.3…), while the commercial editions have a “year.release” version number and they will be released approximately every two months (2025.x).

This change was announced in this post: A better (free) SonarQube experience

The GitHub repository represents the community build, so it’s expected that the commercial releases aren’t published there.

The latest Community Build is 25.3 and the latest commercial build is 2025.1.1.
