Is there a limitation of sonarqube ce branches?

  • which versions are you using (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension)
    SonarQube Community EditionVersion 8.9.9 (build 56886)

  • what are you trying to achieve
    Within the SonarQube project, the master branch is displayed, but I use the main branch. Does the CE version normally read branches other than master? Why is it displaying master inside the project? Is it possible to switch from master to main?

Welcome to the community!

In commercial editions, you can do this through the UI. In Community Edition, the relevant web service should still be available: /api/project_branches/rename. There’s a link in the footer to the onboard API documentation.
