Is regular re-indexing recommended?

Hi Ann,

Do you know if SonarQube recommends regular re-indexing of the Sonar Database. This is a default step of the Standard Maintenance plan ,but we can suppress if recommended.

Hi,

I split your question into a new topic because it was tangential to the topic you’d posted it in.

Regarding DB maintenance, the only thing we’re explicit about is recommending a rebuild/refresh after an upgrade. Other than that, we’re assuming you’re doing the normal maintenance to keep your DB happy & healthy. (And I assume that includes regular re-indexing, but I’m not a DBA. :smiley:)
