We have SonarQube Developer Edition (version 8.9.10) and deployed through zip.
Currently we installed the server and Database in two separate CentOS servers.
As CentOS, reached its EOL, planning to migrate both the servers from CentOS to Rocky Linux.
FYI, I’m planning the migration in two steps,
migrating the database and
then the application server.
As per doc, I’m aware that by migrating the database server (i.e., changing the jdbc url) requires a new license key.
please correct me, if I’m wrong.
my query is,
we need to get the license key from Sales team only in the case of migrating the database server? or
while migrating the application server without changing the jdbc url also requires a new key?
Migrating the application server without changing the value for sonar.jdbc.url should not invalidate your license key.
