I am trying to install a new version of SonarQube, but when I try to start the application I get this message in the log:

SO it’s connected to my database connection.
I am using SQL Server 2012.
I’ve enabled SQL Server authentication, and I’ve created a user (sonarqube) which I can use to connect in SQL Server.

in sonar.properties I have (only) this:

sonar.jdbc.username=sonarqube
sonar.jdbc.password=sonarqube
sonar.jdbc.url=jdbc:sqlserver://localhost;databaseName=sonar;integratedSecurity=true

The wrapper file is unchanged.

So why Is this happening in in Sonar?

Any idea how can I fix this?

Hi,

The root exception is this one:

That relates to the fact that you’re trying to leverage Integrated Security (there’s integratedSecurity=true in your JDBC URL). If that’s your intent then refer to the note in sonar.properties about getting sqljdbc_auth.

However I’m not sure it’s your intent, because you also mention:

If your intent is to connect via standard username/password, then it seems you should not enable Microsoft Integrated Security.
