how is SonarQube deployed: zip, Docker, Helm: ZIP
what are you trying to achieve: fix installation issue Standard Commons Logging discovery in action with spring-jcl: please remove commons-logging.jar from classpath in order to avoid potential conflicts
what have you tried so far to achieve this: tested connection to database

Hey there.

That is probably not the actual problem. Have you checked all your log files for a clear ERROR?

Strange! Is it possible you have some environment variables that might be setting some extra Java configuration? I’m thinking JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS , _JAVA_OPTIONS. This can mess around with the classpath and could be intefering with Elasticsearch’s ability to start.
