How we can migrate portfolio one SonarQube instance to another along with its project

    We are running Data Center Edition v2025.2 1(102418)
  • How is SonarQube deployed: zip, Docker, Helm
    We have deployed through Helm chart
  • What are you trying to achieve
    We have self-hosted SonarQube deployed in EU and US, one of our clients requested to migrate their portfolio along with its projects from EU region to US region SonarQube server.
  • What have you tried so far to achieve this
    As I believe for project, we get the chance to export and import but for portfolio we don’t have. So that, I’m looking the solution to do the same.

Hello,

There isn’t an option to export or import a portfolio definition or its history. To move your portfolio to another instance, you’ll need to manually recreate it on the target system after you’ve moved the projects using project move.
