How to fully delete a user

Is it possible to fully delete a user (vs making them inactivate)?
I have seen a few past threads (about a year old) on this subject and that something was in the works, but did not see any follow-up on it.

As of SonarQube v9.9 LTS, it is possible to anonymize users.
