Ho to create new profile importing checkstyle rules?

Hello every one, I’ve just installed sonar checkstyle plugin in order to add my checkstyle xml configuration to a new java quality profile but i really can’t figure out how to import my configs because any import button is present within creation dialog.

Plugin docs are quite poor so i didn’t find any useful information, I’ve found just one doc about that (How to import existing checkstyle config to sonar · checkstyle/sonar-checkstyle Wiki · GitHub) but it didn’t give me much help.
Has anyone observed the same problem as me?

Welcome to the community!

We’re really not set up to import Checkstyle XML rule sets.

The closest you can get is the Restore functionality (you’ll find the button at the top-right of the Quality Profiles page). But that only accepts a profile previously exported directly from SonarQube, so you would have to convert the Checkstyle XML to the SonarQube format (and I have no idea how different they are).
